Tokenized Alphabet stock hits crypto trending list on Google earnings night as crude tops crowded longs
A CoinMarketCap market brief dated Oct. 29 said one of the day’s clearest signals did not come from Bitcoin or altcoins, but from the way traditional assets showed up inside crypto screens. In the community trending token list, 14 of 48 tickers were tokenized U.S. stocks or ETFs, including QQQ, MSTR, SPY, Meta, Amazon, several Nvidia wrappers, several SpaceX wrappers, and Alphabet. The Robinhood-chain Alphabet token was down 9.44% at the time of capture, matching the direction and magnitude of the post-market pullback in Alphabet shares on the night of Google’s earnings. The report said this was the first time, since the column began tracking the list, that a U.S. earnings-day move appeared on the board in the form of a crypto ticker. The same brief said the derivatives picture pointed to the same boundary shift. In a 200-contract perpetual scan, 24 instruments were commodity, index, or equity-linked products. The most crowded long in the entire sample was not a crypto asset but a crude oil perpetual, with a 1-hour long/short ratio of 4.74. Elsewhere, PEPE was the only top-50 token to clear the day’s outperformance line, rising 6.14% in 24 hours without an obvious official catalyst, while the apparent improvement in narrative breadth was largely attributed to MemeCore’s fully diluted valuation effect rather than broad capital rotation.
